Effective Business Communication Consultant

Dr. Mildred S. (Millie) Myers is a consultant on organizational communication and media relations and an experienced business writer and editor.  Many of her clients are C-level executives in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

Dr. Myers is also Teaching Professor of Business Management Communication Emerita at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, teaching in the MBA, Ph.D. and executive education programs.

In addition, she frequently conducts communication training sessions for other academic and administrative units at Carnegie Mellon.  Specifically, she has provided media training for two successive Deans of the School of Computer Science, the Director of the Robotics Institute, the Dean of University Libraries, the Director and senior staff of the Privacy Technology Center, the Director and senior staff of the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition, senior staff members of the Software Engineering Institute, the Vice President for Business & Planning, the Vice President for Enrollment, the Director of Admissions, the Director of Environmental Safety & Health, the Chief of Police & Security, the University Treasurer, the Director of the Budget Office, and the Director of Annual Giving.
